 SUSPECT ARRESTED
Sacramento Police Homicide Detectives have arrested ERIN RAE KUHN-BROWN, female, white, 31, DOB: 10/29/68 for two counts of 187 P.C. Homicide.  At approximately 7:38 a.m., June 17, 2000 the Sacramento Police Department received a call of a possible body wrapped up next to the roadway.  The caller indicated the body was on Northgate Blvd, approximately 3/4 of a mile from East Levee near the entrance of the Riverdale Mobile Park.  Officer’s arrived and located a deceased female on Northgate Blvd. between Garden Hwy and Del Paso Blvd.

The victims have been identified as KATHALEENA LOUISA DRAPER, female, white, 17, DOB: 06/25/1982 and BABY DRAPER, male, white, new born. Victim Kathaleena Draper died from asphyxiation.  The baby was not with his mother, victim Kathaleena Draper.  The baby’s body is believed to have been disposed in the area of Fallon Nevada.  A search of the area is currently being conducted by Nevada Law Enforcement agencies.

Investigator’s have determined the suspect Erin Kuhn-Brown is the aunt to Kathaleena Draper, and is her guardian.  Erin Kuhn-Brown had driven towards Nevada on interstate 80.  Somewhere between Sacramento and Fernley Nevada, Kuhn-Brown had a argument with Kathaleena Draper, where she was possibly injured.  Kuhn-Brown surgically removed Baby Draper and asphyxiated victim Kathaleena Draper.  Baby Draper is reported deceased, and disposed of by Erin Kuhn-Brown, possibly in the area of Fallon Nevada.

Sgt. McHenry will be available at 2200 hrs, on 06/19/2000.
