MISSING PERSON -HOMICIDE VICTIM
 
Sacramento Police Homicide Detectives are Investigating a Missing Person, suspected of being the victim of Homicide.  On 06/10/2000 the Sacramento Police Department received a call from a male caller, who indicated he received information  that Kristy Green had been killed and her body disposed of.  Officers contacted the individual who had told the caller of this information.  This person denied any knowledge of the incident, or of ever giving the caller any information.

The case was assigned to the Homicide unit for further investigation.  Investigators have determined the victim, KRISTY ANN GREEN, female, black, 20 years, DOB: 04/02/1980, 2861 Lock Av. Sacramento,  has not been seen or heard from for several months.  Green’s daughter, 3 ½ years old,  was placed into protective custody on 07/09/2000 when she was located at a residence in North Sacramento.   Investigators have located evidence which supports the death of Kristy Green, and are actively looking for her deceased body.

Investigators received additional information that Kristy Green was placed into a container and disposed of in the Sacramento River. On July 10 divers from D.A.R.T. and Placer County SD searched the Sacramento River near Freeport for Kristy Green, with negative results..  On July 11, D.A.R.T. divers continued the search, again with negative results.
