GUNSHOT VICTIM DIES, SUSPECT SOUGHT

Aaron Miguel Corona, Jr MH19 (DOB, 6/15/81) died Sunday, August 6, 2000 at approximately 9:30 P.M. at the U.C. Davis Medical Center.  Mr. Corona died as a result of a gunshot to the head he suffered in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 6, 2000 while attending a birthday party in the six hundred block of Los Lunas Way.

Detectives have identified Victor Trillo a.k.a. Cisco as the responsible in the shooting death of Mr. Corona.  The suspect Trillo is described as a male Hispanic 19 years of age, DOB 11/11/1980, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 180 pounds, short brown hair, brown eyes, mustache, light complected with a cursive tatoo on the back of his neck.  At the time of the shooting, the suspect Trillo was described wearing a jersey style-collared shirt, grey on top, white on the bottom and dark colored pants.

The weapon is described as a large caliber semi-automatic handgun is still outstanding and believed to be in the suspect’s possession.

A motive for the shooting is still unknown.

A second subject believed to have been with the suspect Trillo at the time of the shooting  has been identified as George Munoz a.k.a. Bugsy.  Mr. Munoz is a parolee at large and wanted by the Department of Corrections for parole violations.  He is a male Hispanic 21 years of age, DOB 7/14/1979, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 146 pounds, short brown hair, brown eyes, mustache, light complected, with numerous tatoos including MADERA on his chest.

A vehicle believed used by the suspects to flee the scene of the shooting has been impound by the Sacramento Police Department.

Both suspects are from Madera, California and still have relatives there.
