JOB FAIR
The City of Sacramento is holding its first in a series of quarterly Job Fairs planned for various neighborhoods around the city. The first will be at the Greater Sacramento Urban League, 3725 Marysville Boulevard on Thursday, January 11, 2001, from 10:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.
This job fair, a joint effort between the Sacramento Police Department, the City of Sacramento Personnel Services Division, and the Greater Sacramento Urban League, is being modeled after the successful “City Services in the Neighborhood.” This is part of the City’s commitment to doing outreach in the community. Over the year the City of Sacramento will hold three more job fairs in other neighborhoods in the southeast, south, and midtown areas of the city.
Most City departments will have representatives present to answer questions and assist in completing job applications.
Free parking is available to the rear of the Greater Sacramento Urban
League, across the street, and at Grant High School. The Greater
Sacramento Urban League will also provide child care during the event.
