SUSPECTS WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH STOLEN CHECKS

The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects that used stolen checks to purchase merchandise on at least two different occasions.

On May 7, 2002, at approximately 3:15 p.m., two suspects entered the Target store at 2505 Riverside Boulevard and purchased merchandise with stolen checks.  The checks were stolen in a burglary in the 1900 block of 9th Avenue between May 6, 2002 and May 7th, 2002.

On May 21, 2002, at approximately 5:30 p.m., two suspects entered the Target store at 2505 Riverside Boulevard and purchased merchandise with stolen checks.  One of the suspects was the same suspect that used stolen checks on May 7th.  The checks were stolen in a burglary that occurred on May 3, 2002, in the 5200 block of South Land Park Drive.

The suspects are wanted for passing stolen checks and also for questioning in the two burglaries.
 
Suspect Descriptions: 
1.  Male white, 25-35 years of age, short light colored hair, clean shaven, medium build, medium complexion, black pants and a red short sleeve T-shirt.  This suspect was involved in both incidents where stolen checks were cashed.

2.  Male white adult, 25-30 years of age, medium length blond hair, mustache, medium build, dark pants and a short sleeve black T-shirt.  This suspect was involved in the first stolen check incident.

3.  Male white adult, 20-25 years of age, white T-shirt.  This suspect was involved in the second stolen check incident.
