Sacramento Police Department has been investigating vandalism that occurred between September 2, and September 9, 2002,  at both Hiram Johnson and Will C. Wood Schools.  Gang graffiti was sprayed on the walls at both schools causing approximately $5,000 in damage.

Due to the outstanding work of Sacramento Police Detectives, four suspects have been identified.  Three of the suspects (male juveniles, ages 15-16) were taken into custody today, September 24, 2002, and charged with felony vandalism and street gang terrorism.  The names of the suspects will not be released because they are juveniles. The investigation in on-going.
