The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a rape suspect.

On October 8, 2002 at approximately 9:00 p.m., a 15-year-old female who recently ran away from home, was contacted by a suspect driving a vehicle at Stockton Blvd. and Fowler Ave.  The suspect threatened the victim with a semi-automatic handgun and told her to get into the vehicle.  The suspect drove to the area of Industrial Parkway and Power Inn Road where he sexually assaulted her.  The victim was able to run away and get help.  The victim was able to assist investigators in creating a composite sketch of the suspect (see attached).

The Sacramento Police Department is investigating possible similarities in two other rapes.  On July 7, 2002, at approximately 12:00 p.m., a 25-year-old female who identified herself as a prostitute was contacted by a suspect driving a vehicle in the area of Stockton Blvd. and 47th Ave. The victim agreed to follow the suspect in her vehicle to the area of Specialty Circle and Florin Perkins Road to have sex.  At Specialty Circle and Florin Perkins Road the victim changed her mind and got into her vehicle to leave when she was confronted by the suspect who displayed a semi-automatic handgun.  The victim was then sexually assaulted inside her vehicle.  The suspect fled in his own vehicle.

On June 29, 2002, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a female adult was in the area of Stockton Blvd. and McMahon Drive when she was contacted by a suspect driving a vehicle.  The suspect offered the victim a ride home.  The victim agreed and got inside the suspect vehicle.  She was driven to the area of Fruitridge Road and Alder Ave.  The suspect sexually assaulted the victim inside the vehicle.  The suspect left the victim at the scene and fled in his vehicle.

Male Hispanic adult, 28-35 years of age, stocky build, hazel eyes,dark “baseball style”hat, clean in appearance.  Suspect speaks Spanish.

Foreign made, 2-door vehicle that is silver or gray in color with a dark interior.
