As stated on the Media Information Contact sheet, we will be sending out updates twice a day, at approximately 10:00 a.m., 4:00 p.m. and as needed.  These regular distribution times, however, are subject to change.

* We are pleased to announce that there were no reportable incidents that occurred last night, June 20, 2003.

* Today, Saturday June 21, 2003, at 3:30 p.m., the Sacramento Fire Department (SFD) will be holding a live demonstration and informational briefing at the Public Safety Center (5770 Freeport Blvd.).  This event will give the media an opportunity to closely view and obtain information on some of the SFD’s extrication techniques for protesters that may wear metal pipes, sometimes referred to as a “sleeping dragon,” over their appendages to prevent or delay their arrests.  All interested media are invited to attend.
