 In the previous press release (Ref 06-22-03b) we incorrectly reported that the Starbucks at 1501 16th Street had a window broken out by a female suspect using a “wrist rocket” type sling shot.  As it turns out, the window was not broken. The female suspect had drawn the sling shot back as if to fire at the business, but stopped and did not fire when she observed people watching her.  However, this subject did use the “wrist rocket” type sling shot to break out a second story window on the east side of the building at 1501 Capitol.  This subject also vandalized 1423 J Street with red spray paint.  She was taken into custody for the vandalism.
