The following is an update by the Sacramento Police Department related to the USDA Conference:

The arrests listed below are from the Sacramento Police Department ONLY and do not include arrests from other Law Enforcement Agencies.

• A total of 11 arrests have been made today. At approximately 10:00 a.m., five suspects were taken into custody at 14th and J Streets.  They were processed and booked on charges of failing to obey a traffic officer and failing to disperse. The additional six suspects were arrested at various locations throughout downtown Sacramento.  The suspects were charged with a number of violations ranging from: possession of an illegal knife, failure to disperse, trespassing, and violation of a city code.

• This brings the total number of arrests associated with the Conference, to more than 70 since Sunday, June 22, 2003.
