Suspect Identified in Bank Robbery Series

The Sacramento Police Department has identified a suspect wanted in connection in seven bank robberies that occurred in the Sacramento Region, including one in Stockton that occurred on July 28, 2003.

Suspect Description:  Timothy Dawson, 45 years of age, male black, 5'9", 210 lbs., black hair, brown eyes.  Dawson is on parole for weapons and robbery charges.

Suspect Vehicle:  Suspect may be driving a dark grey 2003 Mitsubishi Galant, 4-door or an older model 325i BMW, orange, brown, or rust in color.

The suspect may be traveling with his girlfriend who is described as a female white adult, 5'4", 105 lbs, brown hair and green eyes.  Recent information indicates that Dawson may also frequent the Reno area.

Suspect Dawson should be considered armed and dangerous.  A handgun was clearly seen while committing the robbery in Stockton.
