TWO ADDITIONAL ARRESTS IN TACO BELL HOMICIDE

On Wednesday, August 20, 2003, victim Allen Qualls died as a result of gunshot wounds he received while sitting in his vehicle at the Taco Bell drive-thru at 5550 Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Ralph King and Demarkas King were arrested for this crime over the weekend.  Two additional suspects have also been arrested in connection with this incident.  On August 25, 2003, Marcos Alexander Wheatley (DOB 05/26/82) of Sacramento was taken into custody by the Sacramento Police Department (SPD) and the California Department of Corrections.  On August 26, 2003, the SPD Career Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Kenneth W. McClish (DOB 07/20/65) of Sacramento.  This brings the total number of persons in custody for this homicide to four.
