 SHOOTING

On Friday, October 24, 2003, at approximately 1:03 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department received a 911 call regarding a shooting victim at El Mango Way and El Limon Court.   When Officers arrived they located a male African American between #2 and #4 El Limon Court, who had been shot.  The victim remains in critical condition at the U.C. Davis Medical Center and has been identified as Renell Simmons, male African American, DOB 03/25/78.

The victim remains in critical condition as of today October 25, 2003, and may be paralyzed as a result of his injuries.

Investigators have identified the individual who was physically fighting with the victim and may have provoked the shooting.  Investigators are looking for Moshe Strong, male African American, 5”11”, 165 lbs, DOB 06/03/82.   Moshe Strong should be considered armed and dangerous.  Anybody with information on his whereabouts is urged to call the Sacramento Police Department.
