The Sacramento Police Department is asking the community to be on alert.  On April 27, 2004 at approximately 10:14 p.m., a 17-year-old female student was walking alone to her vehicle parked inside William Land Park from the Sacramento City College Campus.  A subject in a black Acura was apparently following the victim.  When the victim approached her vehicle the suspect exited his vehicle and grabbed the victim from behind.  The victim immediately fought back, realizing the suspect was completely naked.  The victim was able to fight the suspect off. She then got inside her vehicle and locked the door.  The suspect stood near the vehicle hood and masturbated for a short period of time before getting back into his vehicle and fleeing.

Suspect description:  Male White adult, 30’s, 5-11, 230 lbs., blond hair, goatee.

Vehicle description:  Newer black Acura

Safety tip:   Citizens are encouraged to be aware of their surroundings and to travel with others, especially after dark.
