WANTED SUBJECT

The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect with a felony warrant for attempted murder.

Arthur Johnson has been identified as one of at least two shooters in a shooting that happened in the G-Parkway area (Franklin Villa/Phoenix Park) of Sacramento on May 16, 2004.  Witness statements and recovered casings at the scene indicate one of the weapons used in this shooting was an assault rifle, possibly an AK-47.

Arthur Johnson also goes by the name Arthur Capone.  He is a validated gang member, and hangs out in the 29th Street and G-Parkway areas of Sacramento.

Arthur Johnson has a violent criminal record including robbery, burglary, narcotics, numerous types of weapons violations and assaults on peace officers.  He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Suspect Information: Arthur Johnson is a 26-year-old Black male, 6’2”, 220 pounds, black short hair, brown eyes, dark complexion.
