HOMICIDE
On June 4, 2004, at 1:06 a.m., the Sacramento Police Department received a call regarding a subject who had been stabbed in the area of 20th Street and Capitol Avenue. Officers arrived and located a victim on the sidewalk on 20th Street near Capitol Avenue who was bleeding from the upper torso. The victim was pronounced deceased by medical personnel at the location. The victim has been identified as Floyd Wehe (04-21-1964).
Homicide Investigators were called to the scene to investigate further. The preliminary investigation has revealed that the victim was involved in a physical altercation with a suspect who stabbed him with an unknown object. After the altercation the suspect apparently got onto the victim’s bicycle and rode off. It is unknown at this time what the altercation was about or what the possible motive of the suspect was.
Suspect description: Male adult, 6’1”, 160 lbs. The suspect may be in possession of a mountain bicycle that is silver in color.
