PRISON ESCAPEE

On June 17, 2004, Jeffrey Manchester escaped from Brown Creek Correctional Institution in Polkton, North Carolina, where he was serving a 45-year sentence for kidnapping.  He was also the suspect in several commercial burglaries in the Sacramento area a few years ago, but was never charged.  Jeffrey Manchester has family ties in Sacramento County, and may be enroute to this area.

Jeffrey Manchester should be considered “armed and dangerous.”
