HOMICIDE

On October 2, 2004, at approximately 11:37 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department received a 911 call from 7 Water Bay Court reporting a robbery and kidnapping from next door at 709 Still Breeze Way.  The reporting person indicated four male African Americans entered the residence and assaulted the victim and demanded money.  The victim was taken at gunpoint from the residence along with two vehicles.   A 2004 white Ford Mustang, 2 door, and a 2002 Maroon Cadillac Escalade, license #5HLJ233, were taken from the residence.

At approximately 11:56 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department received another 911 call from 1000 Rio Lane indicating several shots fired involving a white Ford Mustang.  Police Officers arrived and located a white Ford Mustang on the southeast end of the parking lot with a shooting  victim laying in the rear seat.  The subject was transported to the U.C. Davis Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.   The victim has been identified as Manual Alexander, male Hispanic, DOB 04/11/71.

A vehicle seen leaving the 1000 Rio Lane scene has been described as 1976 tan/brown Chevy Monte Carlo, 2 door,white landau top and loud exhaust.

The 2002 Maroon Cadillac Escalade taken from the Still Breeze address is still outstanding.   It has black/yellow paper plates and 24 inch rims.

Thus far, one suspect has been described as an African American Male, early 20’s, 6’0, short hair with a white sweatband on his head, long sleeve white shirt with blue pin stripes and wearing Tan “Lugz” shoes.
