The Sacramento Police Department has been investigating three separate vandalisms that are believed to have occurred on October 11, 2004, between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

One of the vandalisms that occurred (8421 Serio Way) is being investigated as a hate crime.  The letters “KKK” and the word “bitch” were painted on the victim’s garage and vehicle.  Additionally, it is believed that the same suspect is responsible for vandalisms at 8502 and 8515 Tambor Way.   The words “bitch” and “Jessica sucks ….” were painted on vehicles parked in front of the residences.

A 13-year-old male was taken into custody today around 1:00 p.m. at Edward Harris, Jr. Middle School in Elk Grove.  The name of the suspect will not be released because of his age.  He is currently on probation for a previous vandalism. The juvenile is currently incarcerated at the Sacramento County Juvenile Hall on Felony Hate Crime and Vandalism charges.
