 Female Fitness Challenge Awards Ceremony

On Saturday, December 4, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., the Sacramento Police Department will hold its first ever Female Fitness Challenge award ceremony at the Public Safety Center located at 5770 Freeport Boulevard.

The Female Fitness Challenge kick-off was held on Saturday, August 28, 2004, at William Land Park.  The challenge, a 12-week fitness program, paired female police officers with female candidates in areas such as weight loss, lean body mass gain, a timed obstacle course, and other areas of fitness.

There are six awards that will be awarded.  The first will go to Christina Andreoni for the person who most represents the Sacramento Police Department.  The second award will go to Amy Reyes for the leanest body mass.  The third award will go to Monica Nelson for the most improved obstacle course time.  The fourth award will go to Jillian Reis and Koren Cole for the most reduced body fat percentage.  The fifth award will go to Sharon Lanier for the most weight lost.  The final award will go to Ilee Stokes as the overall winner.  She receives the grand prize of a trip to Brazil.  Congratulations to all of the participants and especially to our award winners!
