The William C. Bean Jr. Memorial Foundation wants to announce the 7th annual Bill Bean Golf Tournament on June 13, 2005.  There will be 288 players playing in the tournament located at the Ridge Golf Course and the Dark Horse Golf Course in Auburn.  The foundation gives scholarships to youth and to the Butte Police Academy.  Tee time will be 12:30 p.m.

Officer Bill Bean was killed in the line of duty while performing a traffic stop on February 16, 1999.  This tournament will help build the endowment for the William C. Bean Jr. Memorial Foundation and will keep Officer Bill Bean’s memory alive.
