Commercial Armed Robberies

The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects who have committed numerous commercial robberies in the Sacramento area.

On July 1, 2005 at 8:58 a.m., two Black males entered the AM/PM at 8024 Elder Creek Road.  Suspect #1 was armed.  They demanded money and fled the scene.  Two other Black males were seen fleeing with the two that entered the AM/PM.

On July 12, 2005 at 12:54 p.m., two Black males entered the Church’s Chicken at 2980 Florin Road and demanded money.  Suspect #1 was armed.  They took the money from the register and fled.

On July 12, 2005 at 2:22 p.m., two Black males entered the Church’s Chicken at 3801 Stockton Boulevard.  Suspect #1 was armed.  They demanded money from the register and fled.

On July 13, 2005 at 12:30 p.m., two Black males entered the Curtis Park Market at 2703 24th Street and approached the cashier.  Suspect #1 was armed.  The manager tried to confront the suspects.  The armed suspect shot the manager twice in the lower body.  The suspects took money from the register and fled.  There was a third suspect in this robbery who was waiting for the other two outside.

On July 15, 2005 at 12:10 p.m., two Black males entered the Pizza Hut at 604 W. El Camino Avenue.  Suspect #1 was armed.  Both suspects demanded money from the register then fled. 

On July 15, 2005 at 1:54 p.m., two Black males entered the Subway Sandwich Store at 2707 Broadway.  Suspect #1 was armed with a handgun and demanded money from the register.  Both suspects then began demanding money from citizens who were standing in line.  Both suspects fled on foot.

Suspect Descriptions:  #1 Black male, 17-20, 5’4”-5’8”, 135-165 pounds, thin, dark skin, black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, black bandana over face, armed with a handgun.

#2 Black male, 15-20, 5’0”-5’11”, 140-160 pounds, thin, black hooded sweatshirt, a white T-shirt, dark pants, wore a bandana or pulled T-shirt over face, dark jeans, and wore a white hat in the Compton’s Market robbery.

#3 Black male

Anyone with information regarding these robberies is asked to please contact the Sacramento Police Department or CRIME ALERT at 433-HELP or 1 (800) AA-CRIME.  Callers may remain anonymous and may earn up to a $1,000 reward.
