Homicide Arrest

On Friday, August 8, 2005 at 1:41 a.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at Bobby T's nightclub at 6590 Stockton Blvd.

Responding officers found a 24-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the business.  The victim was transported to the University of California, Davis Medical Center where he expired from his wounds.

The shooting followed an argument that began inside the nightclub.  Once outside, the suspect retrieved a handgun and shot the victim in front of a large crowd.

The suspect was identified as Joshua Turner, 26 years old and was sought in the murder.  The U.S. Marshalls office arrested suspect Turner in Harris County Texas on August 23, 2005.  The suspect is due back in Sacramento tomorrow, August 25, 2005.  He will be booked on the charge of murder.
