Attempt Kidnapping Suspect

The Sacramento
Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a
suspect who attempted to force a 12-year-old victim into his vehicle. On October 26, 2005, at 8:20 a.m., a
12-year-old female victim was walking south on Willow Street in North
Sacramento. As she approached Roanoke
Avenue, a black mustang with bright stripes drove by and slowed near the
victim. The sole occupant of the
vehicle asked the victim to get into his vehicle. The victim refused and began to walk faster in attempt to get
away from the suspect. The suspect
continued down the street and turned his car around stopping in front of the
victim. The suspect grabbed the
victim’s arm and again demanded she get into the vehicle. The victim was able to pull away and ran
to a nearby relative’s house.

description: Male, Black,
26-years-old, 5’7”-6’0”, 170-190 lbs.
The suspect was wearing a gray velour zip-up jacket, t-shirt and blue
jeans. His hair was black with corn
row braids.

vehicle: Late model (possibly
2003) 2-door, black Ford Mustang with bright red racing stripes on the hood
and trunk. The vehicle has a small
spoiler on the rear and a small dent on the driver’s side behind the driver’s
door. The vehicle had a brown leather
interior.
