Fruitridge Area Shooting

The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a shooting suspect.

On November 9, 2005, at 10:30 p.m., police responded to the University of California Davis Medical Center regarding a victim shot in the head. Officers were able to determine that the shooting occurred during a Quincenera party at 15 Business Park Drive in Sacramento.

A confrontation occurred between the victim and 3-6 Hispanic males who were breaking into cars in the parking lot. The group fired multiple gunshots and the victim was hit in the head by a bullet. The suspects got into a silver or grey primer vehicle and fled the scene. The suspects were not attending the party, but may have been there to crash it.

Suspect description:  Hispanic male adult with a light to medium complexion, 20-25 years old, 5'4” to 5'5”, 120-135 pounds with a thin build, shaved head, and possible mustache.

Suspect vehicle:  Early 90's, 2-door, silver or primer Ford Thunderbird with chrome hubcaps (See sample 1990 Ford Thunderbird below).
