Fatal Collision in North Sacramento
On
Saturday, December 17, 2005, at approximately 2:00 p.m.,
Luis Rosales (24 years old of Sacramento) was driving
his 2001 Ford Mustang south on Norwood Avenue toward
Silver Eagle Road in heavy rain. For unknown reasons,
Rosales lost control of his vehicle and collided into
a pole. Rosales had to be extricated from the vehicle
and was transported to Davis Medical Center in critical
condition. Rosales later died as a result of his injuries.
The Sacramento Police Department's Major Accident Investigation
Team is seeking the community's help in locating any
witnesses to this incident. Particularly, investigators
are attempting to locate the driver of a green Acura
Integra who may have witnessed the accident.
