ALLIANCE
OF NEIGHBORHOODS
(SCAN)
For
over ten years, the Sacramento County Alliance
of Neighborhoods (SCAN) has worked to make our
community a better place to live. A strong SCAN
works to improve the quality of life in Sacramento
County neighborhood through:
•
Serving as liaison between neighborhood and
government
•
Providing non-partisan forums for discussion
of neighborhood concerns of mutual interest
•
Providing an opportunity for political representatives
and candidates for office to meet area residents
•
Maintaining communication among the neighborhoods
on issues of concern
•
Establishing or monitoring programs which will
benefit residents
•
Providing a unifying voice of neighborhoods
•
Supporting the organizational efforts of existing
neighborhood associations and assisting emerging
neighborhoods that may wish to form new associations
The
SCAN annual membership for community associations
is $25.00. Affiliate membership is available
for $5.00 to organizations without budgets or
funds. Additional association members and interested
individuals can receive mailing for $12.00 per
year to cover postage.
