The UCR (Uniform Crime Reports) crime statistics for the City of Sacramento have been updated to include the data for the year 2006.
The crime mapping data has been updated to include the month of July 2007. The current data contained in the crime mapping tool is for the dates from June 1, 2006 through July 31, 2007.
The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a sex assault suspect.
The first 6 months of 2007 have shown a reduction in incidents of homicide, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and motor vehicle theft. Crimes of rape and larceny showed increases.
