Dispatch Academy

The Communications Center of the Sacramento Police Department now offers the Public Safety Dispatcher Basic Course as well as the Communications Training Officer (CTO) course. These courses are offered to employees of public safety agencies in California, as well as to individuals who are not yet hired by a public safety agency.

Police Academy

The Sacramento Police Department Academy, in affiliation with Los Rios Community College, conducts P.O.S.T. Certified Basic Academy classes for affiliated and non-affiliated students. The police academy is intensive and requires dedication. Find out what life is like in the academy and what is expected of you.
