The Sacramento Police Department is releasing surveillance video of an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Bing’s Market (4775 Rio Linda Boulevard).
At around 7:30 p.m., four masked men walked up to Bing’s Market; three of the suspects entered the store. The fourth suspect remained outside the store. A male victim was parking his car when he was approached by the fourth suspect. The suspect pulled out a gun and ordered the victim out of his car and then ordered him to go inside the store. While inside the store all four suspects ordered employees and customers to the ground. The robbers got away with money from the cash registers and personal property belonging to the victims. The four suspects fled in the male victim’s car which was later recovered by police.
Suspect #1 – is described as a male Black, between the ages of 18 and 25. He is between 5’8” and 6’ in height and weighs between 160 and 175 pounds. He had dreadlocks and was wearing a black hoodie with white writing and black jeans.
Suspect #2 – is described as a male Black or Hispanic, between the ages of 18 and 20. He is between 5’6” and 6’ in height and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark colored hoodie.
Suspect #3 – is described as a male Black, between the ages of 18 and 20. He is approximately 5’6” in height and weighs about 185 pounds. He was wearing a black and white checkered hoodie.
Suspect #4 – is described as a male Black in his late teens to early 20’s. He is between 5’6” and 6’ in height and weighs about 180 pounds. He was wearing a hoodie with a skeleton design.
The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information regarding this robbery to contact Crime Alert, at (916) 443-HELP. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000. Surveillance video is available. Still photos are attached.
