Police Search for Homicide Suspect

The Sacramento Police Department is searching for David Denson, for the murder of Dusty Vasquez, and for shooting two other victims.   Police are also looking to speak with Donann Fox who is the suspect's girlfriend. 

On Friday, April 10, 2009 at 7:11 a.m. hours, the Sacramento Police Department responded to the 3000 block of Del Paso Blvd on a shooting.  Upon arrival, officers discovered Dusty Vasquez deceased at the scene from gun shot wounds.  Vasquez' mother and brother were also shot with non-life threatening injuries.

Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to assist with the investigation.  At this time, investigators believe that Denson came over to the victim's residence and got into a verbal argument.  Denson then shot three of the residents.  Denson's girlfriend, Donann Fox, is friends with the victims. 

David Denson is described as a 30-year-old, male, Black, 5'10", 220 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, possibly driving a silver 2009 Mazda 5 Lic#6GAF706.

Donann Fox is described as a 25-year-old, female, Black, 5'6", 150 lbs, brown hair, hazel eyes.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text in a tip by texting to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter SACTIP followed by the tip information.  Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
