Sacramento Police Homicide Detectives have arrested 49-year-old Susan Woods for the manslaughter of 25-year-old Fernandez Nunez. Woods is also being charged with negligent discharge of a firearm.
On Saturday, March 21, 2009, at 2:25 a.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to Altos and Eleanor Avenue on a large fight where gun shots had been heard. Officers arrived finding two victims in a nearby apartment complex. Nunez had been shot in the upper body and later died from those injuries at U.C. Davis Medical Center.
