Burglars Disrupt Final Resting Place

The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the communities help in identifying the people responsible for breaking into a local cemetery (6100 Stockton Blvd).

On Tuesday, August 4, 2009, thieves entered the cemetery by cutting a large hole in the wrought iron fence.  They then made their way into the mausoleum and removed valuable brass trimming from several crypts.

On Sunday, August 9, 2009, thieves again entered the cemetery and broke into a storage room.  The suspect(s) stole a fifteen-foot John Deer tractor (with attached loader) by driving it through the storage room door and then through the locked wrought iron gate.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime or this person, to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES).  Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information.  Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
