Police Investigate Sexual Assault

The Sacramento Police Department is investigating a sexual assault involving a suspect wearing a uniform.

On Thursday, November 25, 2010, at approximately 6:47 p.m., officers responded to a report of a sexual assault that occurred the day before near 24th Street and South Manor Drive. The suspect entered the victim's residence and sexually assaulted her.  The victim was a female in her 70's with a medical issue which made it difficult for her to communicate. 

The suspect was described as a male Black, mid 30's, 5'7" with a medium build, wearing a dark uniform (possibly a security guard), and driving a car that resembles a security guard vehicle.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime to contact Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information.  Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
