Police Investigate Homicide

On Friday, December 31, 2010, at 9:54 p.m., officers responded to the 7400 block of 29th St, on a shooting with a subject down. Upon arrival, officers located a male, 15 years old, suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The Sacramento Fire Department also responded and declared the subject deceased.

The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to investigate.  At this time, detectives have not identified a suspect or determined a motive for the killing.  The victim's identity is not being released at this time pending notification to his family.
