Police Investigate Late Night Homicide

The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the death of a 37 year old male.

On Sunday, January 2, 2011, at 10:15 p.m., officers were called to the 4200 block of Lotus Av by the Sacramento Fire Department. Fire personnel had responded to a call of a subject with difficulty breathing. Upon arrival, they discovered that the man was suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene.  Detectives have identified a possible suspect but are not releasing this information at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
