Male Dies After Weekend Assault

The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the stabbing death of a 23-year-old male.

On Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 1:42 a.m., officers were hailed regarding a fight that had just occurred in the parking garage at 15th Street and L Street. Officers discovered 3 victims who had been stabbed during the altercation.  One of the victims died this morning from his injuries.

The Sacramento Police Department's Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to the scene.  At this time, detectives are actively investigating the circumstances that led to the homicide. The motive for this murder and the confrontation between the suspects and the victims is unknown. The suspects were described as two male Blacks who fled the scene on foot.
