Police are Seeking Information

The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community's help with identifying the involved parties of an altercation.

On Monday, February 18, 2013, at approximately 12:11 a.m., police responded to the area of 22nd Street and K Street regarding a physical altercation between a female black adult and multiple other subjects.   When officers arrived, the area was checked and all the involved parties had already left the scene.

A canvas of the area was done and a silver chain with a glass butterfly pendant was recovered in the area.  Witnesses reported seeing all the subjects leave in a light blue older compact car with a right side brake light out.

Detectives are asking for anyone who may have been involved or witnessed the incident to please notify police so a welfare check of the female subject can be done.  The female subject is described as being approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and in her mid-twenties.  Please see the below photographs captured from a surveillance camera in the area.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this incident to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
