Law Enforcement Memorial Events

The Sacramento Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies, will honor our fallen heroes during several Law Enforcement Memorial events taking place between Thursday, May 2 and Monday, May 6, 2013.

On Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 12:00 p.m., the 11th Annual Remembrance Ceremony will take place at the Sacramento Police & Sheriff's Memorial, 500 Arden Way, Sacramento.  All of the fallen officers from the past 163 years of Sacramento's Law Enforcement History will be recognized.

On Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 8:30 p.m., the California Peace Officers Memorial Foundation will be holding a Candlelight Vigil beginning at the California Peace Officers Memorial Monument, 10th Street and Capitol Mall.

On Monday, May 6, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., the California Peace Officers Memorial dedication ceremony will be held at the California Peace Officers Memorial Monument, 10th Street and Capitol Mall.
