Robbery Suspect Sought - Sketch

Detectives are seeking information regarding the identity of armed robbery suspects.

On Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at 4:27 p.m., two male adult suspects entered a medical office in the 2300 block of American River Drive.  One of the suspects (sketch below) was armed with a handgun.  The second suspect was confronted by an employee and a physical altercation between the two ensued.  The employee sustained injuries that required medical treatment from being physically assaulted by the suspect.  After the robbery, the suspects fled the business and a search of the area by responding officers ensued.

On the day of the incident a large perimeter was established and a search for the two suspects was conducted with the assistance of police K9 and helicopter.  After an exhaustive search of an area business complex, the suspects were not located and were determined to have fled the area prior to officers’ arrival.

The suspect (below), armed with a black handgun, was described as a Black male in his late 20s, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a medium build and long, curly hair.  The suspect was further described as having large teeth.

The second suspect was described as a male Black adult in his late 20s with a large muscular build and short, dark hair.
