Sex Assault Arrest

The Sacramento Police Department has arrested 28-year-old Jorge Martin-Santana for one count of sexual battery.

In October of 2013, The Sacramento Police Department received a report of alleged misconduct by Martin-Santana, an employee of Planned Parenthood.  The investigation revealed Martin-Santana inappropriately touched a patient during the course of his duties as a Medical Assistant.

On Tuesday, December 3, 2013, detectives, in conjunction with the Sacramento District Attorney’s Office, obtained a warrant for Martin-Santana’s arrest.  The following day Martin-Santana turned himself in, at which time he was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail for the above misdemeanor charge.

At this time the investigation appears isolated to this one incident.  The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone that may believe they were a victim or mistreated while receiving care from Suspect Martin-Santana to contact investigators.

The Sacramento Police Department urges anyone with information pertaining to this crime to contact the dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
