Harassing Phone Call

Unwanted phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature. For example, an unknown person calls and immediately hang-ups or uses obscene language. For a known person please fill out a Harassment report below.

Note: This does not include violations of restraining orders. Please file violations of restraining orders under Violation of Restraining Order.

For AT&T customers only: after completing your report please contact AT&T Annoyance Call Bureau at 1-800-348-8727 with the report number you receive at the end of this process. Please follow AT&T Annoyance Call Bureau's instructions and keep track of when calls occur and the number they are from, if possible.

Harassment

Harassment by another person. For example, a person persistently annoys you or creates an unpleasant situation either verbally or in writing.

Note: This is an incident that does not rise to the level of a crime. If you are injured or your property is damaged do not use this incident type to file your report - select the appropriate crime classification from the online reports page.

Threats

Threats made in person, in writing, or over the telephone. The threat must be believable, and not just something said in anger. If there is the potential for immediate harm, do not report the threat here, call 9-1-1.

Bias

Actions committed against a person or property that are motivated, in whole or part, by bias against race, color, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age or religion. This includes verbal or written slurs, derogatory remarks, jokes or comments.
